MVP in a Day
Menu

You built it with AI. Let's make it solid.

You got further than most founders ever do. Now it's hard to change, you're not sure it's secure, and you can't tell whether it will hold up. Spend a day with an experienced CTO pulling it apart and putting it back together properly.

Sound familiar?

  • Every fix breaks something else
  • Your AI tool goes in circles on the same bug
  • You're not sure who can see whose data
  • API keys live in the code and deploys are a held breath
  • You don't know if a developer could ever take it over
  • Real users or investors are about to see it

None of that means you did it wrong. AI tools are very good at making things work and very bad at telling you what will hurt later. That's the part an experienced CTO brings.

  1. 1

    Before we meet

We go through your code, your data model and how it's hosted, and arrive with a list of what's wrong, ranked by how much it matters.

  2. 2

    Pull it apart

We walk through it together: what's solid, what's risky, what has to change today and what can wait. No lectures, just the honest picture.

  3. 3

    Fix it

Security first, then the architecture, the data model and the patterns. The AI does most of the typing. The CTO decides what it types and checks every line.

  4. 4

    Send you on your way

Deployed and working, with a written list of what changed and what's next, and an understanding of how it all fits together.

What we go through

We work with the stack you have. If part of it really has to change, we'll tell you why before we touch it.

Security
Sign-in, permissions, who can read and change whose data, secrets, and what the app trusts from the browser.
Architecture
Where the business logic lives, how the front end talks to the back end, and what has to be separated before it grows.
Data model
Tables, relationships and migrations. The part that's hardest to change later, so it's worth getting right now.
Maintainability
Structure, duplication and types: the patterns that let you, a developer or your AI tools keep building without breaking things.
Deploys and hosting
Environments, a repeatable deploy, and every account in your name.

“The MVP In A Day program has been a game changer for me. As a non-technical founder, I built my prototype with Claude Code but my backend was all wrong. During the MVP In A Day session, Igor not only built out a structurally sound backend, but also taught me about the architecture along the way. I was building along with him rather than just handing everything off to a dev shop and hoping for the best. Since the first day, I've come back for a few more sessions to build new features with Igor. I feel confident that I can get a lot done on my own with Claude, but for the more complicated builds, it's awesome to have a trusted CTO for a few hours to hammer it out. I highly recommend FastCTO! It is perfect for non-technical founders utilizing AI coding tools to build their MVPs. You'll understand why architecture decisions are being made and level-up your own "coding" skills along the way.”

$3,000 for the day

1 day, prep included

Includes the prep work before we meet: going through your code, your data model and how it's hosted, so we arrive knowing what's wrong.

Need more than a day? Every day after the first is a follow-on day at $2,000, or $1,000 for half a day. Full pricing.

  • In person in Boston

Side by side at Venture Lane. Lunch is on us.

  • Virtual from anywhere

Over a video call, from anywhere in the world. It works just as well.

  • One day or two halves

A full day, or two sessions of about 4 hours on different days. We're not strict; some run to 6.

Too far gone for a day? Sometimes it's quicker to start again, and sometimes the product needs a CTO and a developer or two for a while. If so, we'll say it, and FastCTO can help with either.

Send us what you've built.

If you already know you're a fit, apply and we'll schedule your day. If you're not sure, talk to us first. If we're not the right answer, we'll say so and point you somewhere better.
